Trash the dress Australia!

Steve & Tina were married late last year and had some photos during their wedding at the beach so they were keen to come back to a beach scene later on to get the dress trashed! We drove around the beaches of Sydney’s south coast until we found one that was nearly deserted which was around the Coledale/Austinmer area”.

A number of trash the dress shoots I have seen have been beautiful photography wise but seemed to focus mostly on the bride in fairly staged calm environments. I wanted to do a few of the bride by herself, but my real emphasis was on getting the couple involved and really trying to get some energy and fun into the shoot. With quite choppy water & a brave couple, this was easy to achieve. The shoot went well, with the exception of a couple of torrential rainshowers which forced a very wet photographer to go scurrying back for cover with his gear briefly.

A huge thanks to Gavin our photographer – who has the amazing ability to make one forget all their inhibitions and
imperfections and just relax and have fun – You are one of a kind!!! These photos were so much fun and we are both so happy with the end result!!
P.S Girls my dress washed up as good as new! Not a mark on it!
